It’s that time of year once again. So, get out the address book and send wishes of hope and good will to those we love or feel obligated to.
Are you crafty? Homemade cards are always special. If you have children perhaps you make cards with them. In my experience, kids always love getting out the scissors and glue, markers and glitter. The internet, and Pinterest in particular, is a wealth of information to help get the creative juices flowing.
Another card idea which is always appreciated is photo cards accompanied by annual letters. A letter to report on your family’s happenings is such a special way to keep in touch with friends and family who do not live nearby. Keep a calendar or journal to refer to and write about all the events of your family’s life during 2022. (Or begin to do so in 2023 to make next year’s letter an easier task.)
The USPS is working overtime to get all the cards and packages delivered on time. I’ve noticed delivery people out after dark quite a few times recently. It will cost you 60cents per card this year.
