Scarlet Torok

With over 20 years of real estate experience in new homes, REO marketing, short sales, buyer brokerage and resale marketing, Scarlet is well versed in all aspects of real estate. After graduating from the University of Georgia, Scarlet spent time in the technology field helping corporate clients launch new systems. While helping a co-worker with the purchase of his first home, she realized her true passion.  She left the technology field behind and began working with Northside Realty, where she marketed homes in the fast-paced environment of North Atlanta, Roswell and Suwanee, marketing new homes, re-sales, and helping first time home buyers.  She also trained new real estate agents on how to leverage technology to sell homes faster. After seven years at Northside Realty, she began working with her mother, Ann Bell, at American Land Mart in Conyers. Scarlet is now with Breco Realty out of Madison, GA, where she lives with her husband and two children.

“It all started back in 1997. I was in working in the technology field, and loved my job working with corporate clients, helping them get their systems up and running. But as I was helping a co-worker in his search for a new home, he pointed out that I was helping him more than his agent. That’s when my true passion emerged. See, I had been raised by a broker and a builder.  I would accompany my mother to showings and find my favorite feature about the house.  Then I would point it out to my mother and her clients as only a four-year-old could, by shouting something like “Mamma, look at this fireplace! I COULD ROAST LOTS OF MARSHMALLOWS HERE!”  That was the true beginning of my real estate career, marketing homes for 25? a house. Twenty years after my co-worker helped me find that passion again, I’m still doing what I love.  Helping others find the perfect spot to roast marshmallows.  Or garden, or bake, or entertain, or just spend quality time with loved ones, a good book, or a pet.  I find that perfect spot for you to enjoy your life and your passion. My marketing skills are now honed by years of experience and my fee is a bit more than a quarter, but my passion is still great, and my goal is still the same – to help you make the best move possible, and to have the best possible experience doing so.  It’s a messy thing, with lots of facets, paperwork galore, knowing where to market and what to say, what platforms are best to use (using that technology that I still love so much), negotiating for the best price possible, and above all – how to help you best reach your goal.  That’s what I do.
